Greece!

I didn't realize how much I needed a vacation until we got to Greece.. In one word : heaven. beach and good food all day.. living in Jerusalem I wasn't really in a need of beach wear for to long, so I packed all of it, made some hair bands, and went swimming!

0 2 1 my final project!

 This is it, after four years of learning new things, meeting amazing people, not much sleep, and a bit of crying :) I finished school. This is my final project at the Industrial Design department at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. I hope you'll enjoy it!

In this project I explored the points of transition between the two

 and the three-dimensional, between raw material and finished

 product. The concept is a new interpretation of the contemporary

 fashion-consumption experience. In this series I tried to reconstruct

 the experience of having a garment tailor-made, including fabric

 and pattern selection − but without the need for meticulous fitting.

 The person chooses a round bolt of fabric that fits itself to his/her

body in a variety of ways.

Summer 2011 / 1980

We opened this summer by buying us some new shoes, and by some we mean A LOT.. 

We found these very cute and colorful Espadrilles in a small shoe shop in Jerusalem. 

Apparently, 30 years ago there was a french shoe factory that specialized in Espadrilles in Israel. and these were the remains.. 

size 36 and 45 only, lucky us.

I got my first birthday present! My birthday is not due till next week, but I guess this is how you get surprised... I went to Madrid to visit my beloved boyfriend and he gave me this beutiful watch I wanted for some time now....

So celebrating Madrid and the new watch, with my famous deer jump ;)

Kate's dress or our mom's?..

It's been more then 24 hours since we have seen Kate's royal wedding gown for the first time, and every one is still talking about it. So perfect! modern, but classy, reminds us of Grace Kelly's dress and some even claimed that Kate's was more amazing. Well we agree, this is one of the most beautifull wedding dresses we have ever seen, and we send our love to the new couple!

Indian perks

Our parents just moved to India, the perks about it are obvious, a lot of cool presents when they come to visit, and a free place to stay in India :) but we found another one, my mother's closet. She moved to India and left all of her old clothes behind - and we found them!! ha ha!

This time in the year is usually the time of cleaning.

The old city

סוף סוף מצאנו מעט (אבל ממש מעט) זמן לצלם פוסט אמיתי.. לאנשים מבחוץ, הלימודים בבצלאל אולי נראים כמו קייטנה משעשעת על סטרואידים, אבל האמת היא שזה לא תמיד פשוט. סקיצות, פרויקט גמר, ועוד כל מיני מטעמים ממלאים לחלוטין את שגרת חיינו הסטודנטיאליים. אז בין מוקאפ להגשה, יצאנו לצלם את הפוסט הזה שלדעתי הוא הכי טוב בהרבה זמן (תודות לשגיא כפרה עלינו ועליו) ומעכשיו ננסה לפרסם קצת יותר לבקשות קורעות הלב של מאזינינו וקוראינו. אניווי, נחזור לענייננו, את המעיל הכל כך מיוחד הזה, קיבלנו במתנה מסבתא, מעיל גרמני משנות החמישים, שנקנה על ידה

אז לרגל החזרה הקטנה של החורף למחוזותינו, קבלו אותו במחיאות כפיים סוערות

Nothing could prepare me for the last year of school, so much to do, so much stress, and I'm trying to do it all. After the amazing summery weekend we had, the rain came to visit for (hopefully) the last time this year.

We got this coat from our grandmother, who bought it 60 years ago. 

So let's celebrate the last days of wearing coats!
